5. Shade Sail Size Tip

    The shade sail size used here is suited for a 10 foot top swing beam and a swing set about 8 feet tall or taller. (If you build any of our swing sets with 10 foot long 4x4 leg lumber the set comes out a bit taller than 8 feet.)  If you have a shorter swing set than 8 feet you'll want a size of shade sail that is about 8 feet front to back instead of the 9.5 foot size used here.
